October will be a big month for Bethesda fans, because in addition to Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, they will also be launching The Evil Within 2, the Shinji Mikami helmed sequel to his 2014 flawed horror game hit.

The upcoming game seeks to expand on the strengths of the original- one of the ways that it will do so, apparently, will be by allowing for greater freedom for the players. Speaking in a Bethesda blog post, Game Director John Johanas confirmed that the game, through its layout, customization, and crafting options, will offer greater freedom to players to tailor the experience of playing the game to their liking.

By customizing not just the build of your character, but also the specific kinds of weapons you have, in addition to also having leeway in how you progress through the game, you will be able to have an experience that is uniquely yours, when The Evil Within 2 launches on Friday the 13th of October for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
